Atlas Orthogonal in Lacey & Olympia
Lacey Chiropractor, Dr. Odd is a board certified Atlas Orthogonal DC.
What Is Atlas Orthogonal?
Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic is a technique of adjusting and realignment of the cervical spine by means of its uppermost vertebra, the C1 also known as the “atlas". The Atlas Orthogonal adjustment technique was developed with specificity in mind. Dr. Odd uses x-rays to determine the extent and direction of spinal misalignment. Information from the x-rays determines how the Dr. Odd will adjust the spine back to alignment.
The actual adjustment is performed with a specific Atlas Orthogonal Percussion Adjusting Instrument. The instrument works by percussion – a sound wave – and the bone is gently restored to its’ normal position.
What Does Atlas Orthogonal Treat?
At Finnigan Chiropractic in Lacey, we specialize in using Atlas Orthogonal techniques to treat migraines and headaches! Since the atlas is at the very top of the spine, even a minor misalignment can have a profound impact on spinal alignment and the health of the entire body. Atlas Orthogonal chiropractic care supports whole body health, alleviating pain symptoms, supporting injury recovery, and improving all aspects of a patient’s wellbeing. Atlas Orthogonal treatments relieve nerve irritation, which can otherwise trigger pain, numbness, tingling sensation, structural distortion and poor posture, body weight imbalance, muscular imbalance, and progressive degenerative changes in vertebrae, discs and disc space.
